In this study, the main goal of the authors is to analyze and explore the epic dimensions of Mehdi Hamidi Shirazi"s poems and to determine his position and role in reviving national pride, defending the homeland, and nationalism of Iranians. METHODOLOGY: The study method in this paper is descriptive-analytical based on document research and information collection using library methods and referring to reliable sources and virtual databases, and relying on a selection of poems by Mehdi Hamidi Shirazi. Among the poems of Hamidi Shirazi, four collections of poems, Black Years, Tears of the Beloved, After a Year, and Diwan of the Poet, have been analyzed and evaluated. FINDINGS: The research findings indicate that although most of Hamidi Shirazi"s poems revolve around love and describing the state of being in love, he is a poet who has paid attention to patriotic themes and social and political issues of his era, and has paid attention to epic elements, especially in his political and social poems. CONCLUSION: The results of the research show that Hamidi Shirazi has used more epic and mythological symbols in the poem "The Black Years" to analyze and examine the social and political conditions of his time, but the epic scales and tone in the poems under study are not very noticeable and thoughtful. In some other poems that contain epic themes, the poet has used the epic literature of the past of Iran, especially the characters of Bijan and Manijeh, not with the intention of presenting patriotic concepts, but in the form of paying attention to romantic issues.زمینه و هدف: مهدی حمیدی شیرازی یکی از شعرای نامدار ادبیات فارسی معاصر است که بیشتر سروده های او بازتاب عشقی عمیق و ناکام است؛ اما در میان عاشقانه های وی اشعار وطنی، سیاسی و اجتماعی قابل توجهی از این شاعر بر جای مانده است تا جایی که میتوان گفت دغدغه احیاء غرور ملی و میهنی یکی از انگیزه های اصلی مهدی حمیدی در تمام دوران شاعری وی بوده است. در این پژوهش هدف اصلی نگارندگان تحلیل و واکاوی ابعاد حماسی اشعار مهدی حمیدی شیرازی و مشخص ساختن جایگاه و نقش وی در احیاء غرور ملی، دفاع از وطن و ملی‌گرایی ایرانیان است. روش پژوهش: روش مطالعه در این جستار، به شیوه توصیفی ـ تحلیلی برمبنای سندکاوی و گردآوری اطلاعات به روش کتابخانه ای و مراجعه به منابع و پایگاه های مجازی معتبر و با تکیه بر منتخبی از اشعار مهدی حمیدی شیرازی میباشد. از میان مجموعه اشعار حمیدی شیرازی چهار مجموعه سالهای سیاه، اشک معشوق، پس از یکسال و دیوان شاعر مورد تحلیل و ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش: یافته های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که گرچه بیشتر اشعار حمیدی شیرازی بر مدار عشق و وصف حال عاشق میگردد، اما وی شاعری است که به بنمایه های وطنی و مسائل اجتماعی و سیاسی عصر خویش توجه داشته است و عناصر حماسی را بویژه در سروده های سیاسی و اجتماعیش مورد توجه قرار داده است. نتایج پژوهش: نتایج پژوهش انجام گرفته نشان میدهد که حمیدی شیرازی بیشتر از نمادهای حماسی و اساطیری در منظومه سالهای سیاه جهت تحلیل و بررسی اوضاع و شرایط اجتماعی و سیاسی زمانه خویش بهره برده است اما اوزان و لحن حماسی در منظومه های مورد بررسی چندان قابل توجه و تأمل نمیباشد. در برخی دیگر از اشعاری که بنمایه های حماسی در آن وجود دارد شاعر نه به قصد ارائه مفاهیم وطنی، بلکه در قالب توجه به مسائل عاشقانه از ادبیات حماسی گذشتۀ ایران بویژه شخصیت بیژن و منیژه بسیار بهره گرفته است.مهدی حمیدی شیرازی, حماسه, شعر معاصر, وطنMehdi Hamidi Shirazi, epic, contemporary poetry, homelandhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1775.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1775.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل و واکاوی حماسه در اشعار مهدی حمیدی شیرازیhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Analysis and Study of Epic in the Poems of Mehdi Hamidi Shirazi
