The most important function of the adjective in this story is to visualize and objectify the moral and behavioral characteristics of the characters. Beyhaghi has used all the linguistic and literary capacities of this grammatical category in order to convey meaning and induce his emotions and feelings. The main goal of this research is to know the linguistic and literary aspects of the adjective and how it works in the story of Hasnak Vazir. METHODOLOGY: This research was carried out in a descriptive-analytical way and based on library studies and document analysis. For this purpose, the adjectives in Hasnak Vazir"s story have been examined and analyzed according to the type of their usage in the two categories of former adjectives and latter adjectives. FINDINGS: The findings of this research indicate that Beyhaghi chooses the most important and accurate adjective from among the available adjectives for a character or phenomenon, and by using flexible sentence construction in Persian and with Paying attention to the tone and tone of the word, while giving prominence to the adjective, gives it a special semantic and emotional load. CONCLUSION: Among the different types of adjectives, referring adjectives have the highest frequency and exclamatory adjectives have the lowest frequency. The most important function of an adjective from a linguistic point of view is to describe a noun and express its various states, but from a literary point of view, it can be considered its most important function to visualize and objectify the adjectived in line with the emotions and feelings of the speaker. In this story, the adjective, along with the adjective and other components of the sentence, i.e. the semantic context of the text and the context of the speech (the axis of association), finds a special semantic and emotional load.زمینه و هدف: صفت به عنوان یکی از وابسته های اسم، در قصّۀ حسنک وزیر برای بیان احوال گوناگونِ اسمها و پدیده ها بویژه در معرفی شخصیتها نقش اساسی دارد. مهمترین کارکرد صفت در این داستان، تجسم و عینیت بخشی به خصوصیات اخلاقی و رفتاری شخصیت هاست. بیهقی با استفاده از تمام ظرفیت های زبانی و ادبیِ این مقولۀ دستوری در راستای انتقال معنا و القای عواطف و احساسات خویش بهره گرفته است. هدف اصلی این پژوهش، شناخت جنبه های زبانی و ادبی صفت و چگونگی کارکرد آن در قصۀ حسنک وزیر است. روش پژوهش: این پژوهش به شیوۀ توصیفی- تحلیلی و بر مبنای مطالعات کتابخانه ای و روش سندکاوی صورت گرفته است. به همین منظور، صفتهای موجود در قصّۀ حسنک وزیر باتوجه به نوع کاربرد آنها در دو دستۀ صفتهای پیشین و صفتهای پسین بررسی و تحلیل شده است. یافته ها: یافته های این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که بیهقی از میان صفتهای موجود برای یک شخصیت یا پدیده، مهمترین و دقیقترین صفت را انتخاب میکند و با استفاده از ساخت انعطاف پذیر جمله در زبان فارسی و با توجه به لحن و آهنگ کلام، ضمن برجستگی بخشیدن به صفت، بار معنایی و عاطفی خاصی به آن میدهد. نتیجه: در میان گونه های مختلف صفت، صفت اشاره بیشترین بسامد به خود اختصاص داده و صفت تعجبی کمترین میزان را. مهم ترین کارکرد صفت از حیث زبانی، توصیف اسم و بیان حالتهای گوناگون آن است، اما از حیث ادبی، تجسم و عینیت بخشی به موصوف در راستای عواطف و احساسات گوینده را میتوان مهمترین کارکرد آن دانست. صفت در این قصّه، در کنار موصوف و دیگر اجزای جمله، یعنی زمینۀ معنایی متن و بافت کلام (محور همنشینی)، بار معنایی و عاطفی خاصی می یابد.بیهقی, قصّۀ حسنک وزیر, صفت, کارکردهای زبانی, کارکردهای ادبیBeyhaqi, Hasnak Vazir's story, adjective, linguistic functions, literary functionshttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1776.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1776.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/بررسی کارکردهای زبانی و ادبی صفت در قصّۀ حسنک وزیرhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Investigating the linguistic and literary functions of the adjective in the story of Hasnak Vazir
