The enchantment of speech and the value of the word constitute one of the fundamental elements of Romanticism, which, when intertwined with mysticism, provides a rich capacity for multilayered meaning-making. This study seeks to address the question of what place speech and the word hold in mysticism and Romanticism within the poetry of Sohrab Sepehri, and how these poems may be interpreted from a semiotic-hermeneutic perspective. METHODOLOGY: The present study undertakes a semiotic analysis of Romantic and mystical elements as they appear in selected poems of Sepehri. To this end, two of his poems are examined through a descriptive-analytical method based on library research, employing Umberto Eco’s interpretive semiotics to investigate mystical codes and Romantic motifs. FINDINGS: The findings indicate that Sepehri, by employing metaphors of nature and mystical codes, elevates language beyond its instrumental function, conceiving it as a living entity. This feature opens the possibility for diverse readings within the framework of Mystical Romanticism. CONCLUSION: The results suggest that in Sepehri’s poetry, the word becomes a medium of intuition and revelation. Applying Eco’s interpretive semiotics to these poems not only uncovers the hidden dimensions of the value of speech but also provides a systematic model for analyzing literary texts imbued with mystical and Romantic elements.زمینه و هدف: رمانتیسم عرفانی به عنوان مطالعاتی بینارشته ای در حوزه ادبیات، پیوندی میان رمانتیسم و عرفان برقرار میکند. افسون سخن و ارزش کلام، یکی از مؤلفه های بنیادین مکتب رمانتیسم است که در پیوند با عرفان قابلیت فراوانی برای تولید معنایی چندلایه ایجاد میکند. این پژوهش میکوشد به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که کلام و سخن در عرفان و مکتب رمانتیسم در اشعار سهراب سپهری چه جایگاهی دارد و چگونه میتوان این اشعار را از منظر نشانه شناسی تأویل کرد. روش‌: پژوهش پیش رو، به بررسی نشانه شناختی مؤلفه های رمانتیکی و عرفانی و خوانش آنها در اشعار منتخب سهراب سپهری پرداخته است. بدین منظور، دو شعر از اشعار سهراب سپهری با روش تحلیلی- توصیفی مبتنی بر داده های کتابخانه ای تحلیل و بر اساس رویکرد نشانه شناسی تأویلی امبرتو اکو، از منظر رمزگان عرفانی و مؤلفه های رمانتیک مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. یافته ها: یافته ها حاکی از آن است که سپهری با بهره گیری از استعاره های طبیعت و رمزگانهای عرفانی، کلام را از سطح ابزاری ارتقا بخشیده و آن را به عنوان موجودیتی زنده تلقی میکند. این ویژگی امکان خوانشهای متنوعی را در بستر رمانتیسم عرفانی رقم میزند. نتیجه گیری: برآیند متن بیانگر این است که واژه در اشعار سپهری به عاملی برای شهود و مکاشفه تبدیل شده است و به کارگیری رویکرد تأویلی امبرتو اکو در خوانش اشعار سپهری، افزون بر آشکارسازی ابعاد پنهان ارزش کلام، الگویی روشمند برای تحلیل متون ادبی با مؤلفه های عرفانی و رمانتیک ارائه میدهد.افسون سخن, ارزش کلام, رمانتیسم, عرفان, نشانه شناسی تأویلی, سهراب سپهریThe enchantment of speech, the value of the word, Romanticism, mysticism, interpretive semiotics, Sohrab Sepehri.https://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1892.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/downloadPDF/1892.pdfhttps://bahareadab.com/article/تحلیل عرفانی افسون سخن و ارزش کلام در رمانتیسم در شعر سهراب سپهری بر اساس رویکرد نشانه شناسی تأویلی امبرتو اکوhttps://bahareadab.com/en/article/Mystical Analysis of the Spell of Speech and the Value of Words in Romanticism In Sohrab Sepehri's Poetry Based on Umberto Eco's Interpretive Semiotic Approach
